• I've been tagged

  Kristen is "Bored," so she tagged me for this survey.  Well Bored, it's nice to meet you--I'm watching the 1990s XMen Cartoon...wait...is that not how we play this game?  Whatever.  To the races!!!

  What’s your current obsession? ummm...packing for camp.  I've been trying to figure out which books to take. 

  What are you wearing now? nothing.  (Except for the lobster pj pants and black tank top.  So... not really nothing at all.)

  Do you nap a lot? Naps are good.  And by good, I mean awesome on many many levels.

  What would you like to learn to do? Always kind of wanted to learn how to surf.  Also, belly-dance.

  What’s for dinner? I had a pb&j...followed by a cookie-dough blizzard.

  What was the last thing you bought? Mother's Day gift for mom.  Birthday gift for dad.

  Who is your favorite of the XMen? Rogue.  Always has been. 

  What is on your bedside table? Writing magazines, a water bottle, a lamp, a cow, some horses

  What is your most challenging goal right now? Damn...ummm...well, graduating on Thursday.  So that's done.  I guess finishing a book and getting published.

  Do you have a blog you read daily even when there are no updates? Not so much

  What would you like to have in your hands right now? Chris Pine...wait...ummm...oh who am I kidding.  Chris Pine.

  How do you react to spiders? I don't mind them as long as they're not in my bedroom, but I don't like killing things.  (Except ticks...gross.)

  What languages do you want to be able to speak? German

  What’s one thing you’re looking forward to? Camp

  If you were to pick up a pen right now, what would be the first thing you’d write? Probably song lyrics

  Who was your childhood crush? Oh my...I can't actually remember their names...though I do remember their faces.  Seventh grade I had a massive, weak in the knees crush on a boy named Ryan.  I've crushed on a lot of Ryans, and a lot of Davids...

  What do you want to be…when you grow up? A writer.

  What (and when) was the last book you read? Just finished "A Walk with Jane Austen" today.  Few Days before that, I finished Lisa Shearin's "The Trouble with Demons." 
  
  What is a compliment you've received that's meant a lot to you? Compliments?  I know people have given me those before...ummm...yeah...like eowyn, I don't do much in the way of remembering those.

  What is your earliest memory? Falling down on the way back from an assembly in pre-school.  I remember feet...everyone from their knees down.  I thought I would never get back to my classroom, but then one of the big kids said, "Hey, one of the little kids fell down."   I was then rescued by my teacher.
